Designer Darling Contest Round-up

As most of you know, I have been competing in the Designer Darling Contest at STS this year.  I just completed my entry for the final round a few days ago.  This contest has helped me grow so much as a designer and I would like to thank all the ladies involved for everything!!!  Hopefully you all had a chance to pick up all the different kits and add-ons that I did during the contest.  If not, don't worry because I am going to make it simple for you now.  :)  My first mini kit I created needs some tweaking so I will be redoing it at a later time for you all. Designer Darling Contest Round 5

I finished up my full kit for Round 5 of the Designer Darling Contest at STS.  I went with a summer theme because usually by this time of the year, I am longing for those hot summer days and all the fun activities we do.  Here is a preview of my kit.  You can find the download links by going to the STS Designer Darling Forum.

So, what happens when the sun goes down on those warm days and it gets cooler outside?  More fun of course.  The add-on is based on the fun things we like to do on the cool summer nights.

NICU Blues freebies

If you didn't have the chance to head over and pick up my NICU Blues kit at the STS Designer Darlings forum, you should.  This is an adorable kit to scrap all those memories of the NICU.  There is also other elements that make it usable even if you were lucky enough not to have to ever spend time in the NICU. Designer Darling Contest Round 4

Here is my submission for Round 4 of the Designer Darling Contest. I decided to do a NICU theme.  I went with a blue and brown color scheme.  I am really happy with how it all turned out.  Here is a look at what I created.

Designer Darling Contest Round 3

I am excited to say that I made it on to Round 3 of the Designer Darling Contest at STS.  This round we were asked to extract 3 items from photos we took or scanned in ourselves.  I have to admit that this was the most difficult round for me so far.  I created some commercial use basics for my submission.  You can find the download link here in the STS Designer Darling Forum.  While you are there, please take a second and and go here to vote for my submission.  Thanks so much!!

Designer Darling Contest Round 2

It is now Round 2 of the Designer Darling Contest.  This round's challenge was to create a kit with a monochromatic palette.  It took me quite a while to decide on a color, and then even longer to figure out a theme.  But in the end, I am very pleased with what I came up with.  It is a Valentines/Love kit with a twist.  It is called Gamble on Love and it contains 7 papers and 13 elements. You can download it from the Designer Darling Round 2 thread in the STS forum by clicking here.  My post is closer to the bottom, so you will have to scroll down to find it.
